The Software Architect will have a hands-on role with the architecture and development of our Science 37 platform and the technology that enables Science 37’s groundbreaking clinical research model. While collaborating with Product, Data, Clinical Operations, and other relevant stakeholders to define study-specific Platform requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to help us take our product and integrations to the next level.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Lead complex technical designs, prototypes/proof of concepts, help development teams choose tools, frameworks, and platforms
Partner with Engineering, DevOps, Test, and QA teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and fault-tolerant solutions that address business problems and accelerate the adoption of Science 37 platform and services
Design and Build the best of class resilient solutions using universally accepted architecture practices and design patterns
Be the go-to person for understanding technical design requirements and help design solutions that meet or exceed the company's architecture standards
Closely work with product management to influence the product roadmap for building new features and functionality based on market trends and help the platform stay competitive in the market
Establish strong cross-functional and cross-organizational relationships and collaboration with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams
Establish best practices, coding standards, and design patterns. Enforce development patterns and best practices through mentorship, code, and design reviews


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience
8+ years of professional experience in software development and architecture
3+ year’s experience with MuleSoft Platform and various components of Anypoint Platform like Anypoint API Platform, Exchange and Messaging Queues
Experience developing RAML based APIs using the Anypoint API Platform
Strong architectural & system design skills in NodeJS and Java
Experience designing and building distributed Cloud architecture
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
Experience in UI frameworks like Angular and React
Track record of problem-solving and using pilot programs, prototypes and growth hacking approaches
Thrive in fast-paced, agile environments, and able to learn new areas quickly
AWS cloud experience a must (EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, RDS, CloudWatch)

Senior Java Developer

The Senior Developer is a senior leader on the development team and is responsible for implementing the technical architecture, analysis of current issues and developing proposed solutions by utilizing best practices and modern technologies that enable our continued business needs and growth. Director of Sales

Position Summary

The Director of Sales is responsible for managing and building a high-performance sales, marketing and lead generation team. This position will drive and ensure applicable metrics associated with all sales and marketing efforts are followed and successfully accomplished. Using the vision of the CEO as a guide, this position will assess a variety of market opportunities and will lead those efforts. The Director of Sales will direct activity to meet and exceed revenue goals and objectives.  


 Essential Functions

Supervise and provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, mentoring and feedback to sales personnel to support talent development and ensure DocMagic sales goals are met, control expenses and adhere to established department budget. 

Ensure that every sales team member is trained and qualified to effectively sell every DocMagic product and service, and is regularly re-evaluated and graded based upon agreed metrics.

Ensure all metrics are adhered to (i.e. calls, demos, etc.) and all communications, opportunities, leads, status updates, etc. are properly undated/reflected within Salesforce. 

Effectively manage the sales funnel and determine if additional leads are required to meet DocMagic sales goals. 

Work to establish annual and semi-annual sales goals. Consistently monitor, review and report performance relative to established sales goals.  

Oversee new account acquisitions and manage all sales efforts to drive growth and meet or exceed established DocMagic sales goals.  

Retain a diverse team of top-notch sales talent to infuse original thinking, creativity, innovation, analytical and execution skills into the company and specifically, the sales process. 

Participate in sales calls, demos, etc. with staff to ensure that sales personnel are properly presenting DocMagic products and services, executing established training knowledge, and meeting the customer's needs. 

Work with Sr. Marketing Manager to gage effectiveness of digital marketing, print, and convention/conference/tradeshow effectiveness. Track sponsorship effectiveness, related expenses, and provide feedback relative to lead generation efforts.  

At all times be an advocate of the company and inspire and lead Sales and other departments to adhere to the company's mission and promote a positive culture.  

Continue to provide weekly/monthly and other sales reports to CEO

Because this position involves the managing a group of individuals in the Torrance office, must be in the Torrance office at least 2 weeks/month

We are seeking a full-time, in-house Senior Unity developer to help us build high performance Unity based applications using existing standards, conventions, and an existing product architecture for our educational games.

• Develop features and functionality within the Age of Learning Unity platform for deployment to Android and iOS targets

Sr. QA Engineer

The Sr QA Engineer (Automation)is responsible for designing and implementing the testing framework for ICANN's Technical Service project(s). The Tester will understand the dependency of each component and the interaction with other systems and can translate that into realistic (automated) test scenarios that run 24/7 on the continuous integration platform. The status of the testing should be available at all times. The Tester will provide the final sign-off on the release package and propose new testing technologies and test approaches in compliance with ICANN's best practices, policies, and procedures.

As a Sr QA Engineer (Automation), you will deliver testing initiatives that guarantee the availability and stability of systems output. You will be responsible to develop and maintain the framework in such a way that it's scalable. Align that framework with other product units to share and learn.

The Sr QA Engineer (Automation) will work with other staff (mainly Engineering & IT Development and IT Infrastructure). The role also includes interacting with business program managers and delivery managers to better understand and develop requirements and to communicate deliverables and design considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in complete software testing activities such as designing, writing, testing, and documenting software test cases and automated scripts in languages (JAVA) and environments appropriate to development projects.
