Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support and maintain all aspects of the Service Center’s systems and employees. This will include but not be limited to face-to-face interaction with users, hardware and software tasks, end-user support, and configuration support of Windows operating systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft 365, the more advanced functionality: Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Azure AD, Conditional Access Policies, Intune, Autopilot
- Experience implementing solutions to solve user support issues and prevent them from coming up again
- Experience working at an MSP is a bonus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for the efficient delivery of technology resources to the organization
- Manges such resources, including the broad maintenance of the functionality, security, and accessibility of all computer resources within the organization that includes, but is not limited to employees, vendors, systems, and infrastructure
- Respond to Team Member support requests for service, document all work performed in Helpdesk ticketing system
- Assist Team Members with technology support to ensure they can use the technology systems in an efficient and effective manner
- Onboard new employees
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair desktop hardware, software, workstations, laptops, thin clients, printers, and peripherals
- Install and configure computers, windows operating systems, printers, and applications
- Assist the IT Coordinator with daily activities as necessary
- Perform and document installs (moves, adds, and, changes, for personal computer (PC) hardware including PCs, notebooks, printers, LAN connections, telephones, and other peripherals.)
- Responding to requests for computer support from internal customers such as managers, executives, or other employees
- Installing new computer hardware such as monitors, keyboards, mice, as well as new software such as operating systems or application programs
- Other duties as assigned
