POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Cloud Engineer you have three primary responsibilities; configure the Cloud Management service, monitor and manage the service and assist the O365.NCS team in designing and testing their cloud based solutions. The Cloud Engineer provides strategic guidance, solutions design, automation, monitoring and hands-on implementation that enables agility, stability and scalability.

  • Operational support of cloud infrastructure
  • Work closely with application development in face-paced environments
  • Collaboration and troubleshooting to resolve issues related to application testing, deployment and operations
  • Manage cloud infrastructure
  • Assist with upgrading, installing, configuring and monitoring solutions in Azure
  • Provide support for Cloud Infrastructure customers and projects involving Cloud Infrastructure needs
  • Install and configure the Cloud Management applications
  • Set properties for Cloud Management



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 4 years of development experience with an object-oriented programming language
  • At least 2 years of cloud-native application development experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • At least 2 years of working in an Agile environment
  • At least 2 years of CI/CD and DevOps development methodologies experience
  • Solid foundations of systems and network security and best practices
  • Innovation and forward-thinking vision
  • Ability to translate team requirements into IT solutions
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Effective prioritization and organization skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a high paced environment
  • Strong problem solving, trouble shooting and root cause analysis skills



  • Cloud developer certifications
  • 2+ years of Python experience
  • 2+ years of Go or C/C++ programming experience
  • 1+ year of Enterprise software development experience
  • Machine learning and data analytics project experience
  • Experience developing and contributing in an open source environment
  • Container experience (Docker/Kubernetes or equivalent)
  • Domain knowledge of security and/or compliance frameworks a plus



  • Repetitive movement of hands and fingers-typing and/or writing
  • Have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading
  • Occasional standing and walking?
