Jr. Ecommerce Project Manager

We are looking for a talented Jr. Project Manager to join our Ecommerce Technology Team. The Jr. Project Manager will assist our Ecommerce Project Team in organizing our ongoing projects. Daily tasks involve monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. You will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study and at least three (3) years of relevant experience is required for consideration.
Jr. Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
- Chair and facilitate meetings in meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Keep track of project change requests.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Assist in managing new builds, re-platforming projects, and retainer projects.
- Assist in leading cross-functional team in day-to-day activities.
- Forecast timelines and project delivery dates and communicating these internally and updating in real-time.
- Plan and assign work across Designer and Development teams.
- Help deliver time estimates for Design and Development work and requests quickly; set timelines for teams to follow based on client priorities and timelines.
- Assist in managing team profitability through efficient resource allocation and setting proper goals.
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and overseas subsidiaries.
- Create and maintain process and website documentation.
- Manage UAT / QA phase.
Jr. Project Manager Requirements:
- Comfortable with user experience, ecommerce and web development terminology and processes, with experience managing web projects, back-end integrations, etc.
- Experience as an Interactive Web Producer or Project Coordinator/Manager with multiple ecommerce projects
- Bachelor degree in business or related field of study.
- Minimum three years of experience in Project Management or Ecommerce related positions.
- Verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
